We were 17 when we started BANJ. We had no office, no sourcing team, and no long résumés—only one question we could not leave alone: why did comfort always feel like an afterthought when the journey mattered so much?

So we began searching across China for a manufacturing partner we could trust. We visited the factory in person, felt the fabrics, checked the seams, tested the valve, and compared sample after sample. We were not looking for the cheapest option. We were looking for a product we would genuinely carry ourselves.

BANJ was created for the hours between leaving and arriving: the overnight flight, the long team bus, the early train, and the ride home after competition. For students, athletes, and professionals moving between places, rest should not have to wait until the destination.

This is our first business and our first product. We are still learning, still improving, and still at the beginning. But that is exactly why every detail matters to us. We want to build the kind of comfort we once searched for ourselves—and make every journey feel a little more considered.
